In the past months artists have brought in a lot of fresh work that has not been featured in shows. The upcoming show, “Hello, My Name Is… Addicted to Art”, will feature the art that has us excited, and gives us the opportunity to tell the audience why the art deserves a second look. Staff at McGowan Fine Art, select collectors and artists will provide written perspectives on the allure of many pieces.
We invite you to join in the conversation this summer including a special get together for those who thought that art might not be for them. Mingle with other new collectors and learn the difference between a serigraph and a gouache. Ever wondered what makes good art or what to look for when buying? We will be holding a Thirsty Thursday ‘Art for Beginners” on July 21st, 5-7 PM. Bring a date and all your art related questions. Wine and nibblies will be served.
This exhibit will be on display at McGowan Fine Art, 10 Hills Avenue, Concord, NH. Hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10 to 6 PM; Saturday 10-2 or by appointment.
