Artist's Statement

My work has many influences, graphic design, the use of grids and gestalt theories, art history, especially constructivism, minimalism and japonisme, plus a passion for printmaking, and art on paper. This series resulted in the combination of these things, a love of nature, and the long anticipated birth of my daughter, Sofia.
